Woke up at 10am, Fab was already gone to the airport to take his plane but he called us because the flight was cancelled because of too much frog… so after buying food for the trip, we went to catch him at the airport at 2pm.

Then arrived at the Serbian border where we spent a litlle bit less than 3 hours with a cop who decided to look in all our bags and pockets… finally he gave up after seeing all the instruments…

Driving… we let Bino with Kate in Zagreb at 5am, enjoy Bino !

Driving… no problems at borders, not even in germany, whaou !!

Driving… another movie please !!

Driving… a little stop with French customs but no real control after all

Driving… arrived in Antony at midnight, after 34 hours of travelling………………….

Everybody took his things and then went to his own bed…. Feeling strange….

Tired… of course… but just can’t next time !!

Woke up at 9 to go to Skopje at 10.

We let Chakka near Novi Sad and then go straight to Skopje. Problems at the border because of a Serbian customer who filled the wrong paper and didn’t want at the beginning to change her mistake… so have to speak louder and ask for the chief… Because of that we arrived more than one hour late and didn’t had time to make a soundcheck, but however the place was quite good equiped, so no worry thanks to Fabichou bichou!

Little rehearsal in the backstage with brasses of Superhiks and some of the brass band that also played this night, in order to play Under Rakija together !

Then quick eat and gig: there were around 300 people which was quite good for a sunday evening and really enough to give us energy ! The gig was really cool with good energy, good audience reaction and a great final with Under Rakija with Macedonian brasses and Petar of superhiks as MC. After us played the Gypsy Brass band, amazing… Young people (around 20 years old) playing so well, so speed with a lot of energy, great party !

For after party, we went to Castro Club, earned by Petar, where a band was playing cover sound till 3:30am. At the end, we took their instrument to jam a bit with guys of Superhiks and the audience that was still there at 4am on a monday !

Then went to finish ourselves in a sympatic kind of alternative hostel/youth hostel, with Anastasija and Dimi, non stop laughing…

Went to bed at 6am…

Here are little videos: http://markacadey.net/youtube/?tag=skopje+joke

Thanks to all Lithium Records crew, Anastasija, Sonja, Grga and Login !! you offered us exactly what we needed as final gig/party for the tour we had J

We woke up at 1pm, got out of hostel at 2pm.

What is difficult on this winter tour is of course the temperature but also the lack of light during “our days”: we always play after 11pm and for about a bit less than 2 hours, after it’s party with friends, then pack backline in the van, then go to sleep in a place, put on beds... so it’s nearly not possible to sleep before 4am. So we sleep till midday and go out at 1or 2pm. But the night arrive at 4:30pm, so we just have day light for 2 or 3 hours per day. When we get in the van to go for next gig, it’s completly night.

Chakka came with us to Zenrajnin, as our guide. Got to drive slowly because of freezed road...

So we arrived late and didn’t have time to soundcheck. As support band was “Impurita”, an hardcore band from Zrenjanin that helped “Tzef” (sorry guy, I don’t how to write your name...), the promoter, to organise the gig. They made a powerfull gig that warmed very well the audience. The place, the hall of the Cultural Center of the town, was full ( about 200 people) with all ages. Jandric family from Osijek also came as Tzef is one of thier friends.

We started with a difficult sound, but however... the people were really hot, jumping and punk dancing (pogo?), very good reaction maybe because it was a big part of Impurita audience !!

While we were packing our stuffs, Julian realised that somebody stole his jacket, so we looked everywhere, gave phone calls, but we didn’t found it... so it was not very good ambiance...

Then, some of us went to sleep at Tzef place and the others went party in a club. Lept only few hours...

Big Thanx to Tzef for your organisation, place to sleep and kindness !!

Lolov’, Hope you had good party and more sleep than us

Woke up at 1pm... had coffee, went to the gig place entering through a window to get back Fab's CD that were forgotten last night and then Julian made pasta at Larson place before leaving. Larson just brought one bottle of wine as a present for Tim’s Birthday and some fruits for the travelling: hey Larson, thanx fo sleeping and everything, just perfect !

Now, time to go to Serbia !!

Chakka came in the van with us, just crossing borders walking, not to be too much in the van. No problem at borders, just spent half an hour for ATA Carnet.

Arrived in Sombor at 5pm, quiet provincial town in Voivodine... Now, it’s really winter time, little bit of snow, ice on the floor, frog...

The bar where we played was just cool place, but really cold. The PA took time to arrive and because of little problems, we finished soundcheck at 9:30pm... Then went to chill a bit in the hostel where we’d sleep and have dinner.

When we arrived back in the club, it was quite full (150 people). During the gig it was diificult because of static electricity problems, each time we touched each other or a cable, we were electricty hurt... But people reacted good, dancing and shouting (hysterically somtimes...). Then Chakka sound system played like Jungle/Electro for 3 hours so just party for everyone and we finally end up the night in the hostel at 5am.

Hey Lolov’, have a good weekend, miss you ;)

We had time on this morning because next gig is not so far, so we walked in the city which in north part of Croatia, called Slavonia, is on the Sava, the river that makes the border with Bosnia y Herzegovina. Here during the war, people had to leave the town because of bombs.

Then we took the van after chilling a bit at Marco’s place, shearing good music. We need to go to Osijek just 2 hours driving.

Arrived easily at 5pm, as Marina, one friend of former tours, came to pick us in town.

The place was really cold because of no heating. We had to wait for the PA system for 2h...

After waiting, we were said that we would play after midnight, so we began to drink, with Jandric family and Chakka from Sombor, one singer we met last summer...

The first band playing was from the town, an heavymetal/hardrock band with an singer with an amazing voice just like Axl Rose !! back 12 years before ! So cool !

At midnight it was Tim's birthday, we celebrate his 20 years with beer and rakija. When arrived time to play (1am...) we were really charged with alcohol. We had fun on this gig but it wasn't one of our best... anyway people react good, Chakka came to play on 3 songs with lot of improvisation, a little bit messy but quite funny ! Once more we sang for Tim's birthday, at the end people were slowly going back home, because of late hour or confused music, we'll never know... However, as usual now, Martial mixed till 4:30am while we were dancing with our friends and the rest of courageous people from Osijek. Then went to eat pizzas (once more...) before going to sleep in the flat of one of the promoters, at 6am.

Special thanks to Marina, Tanja, Vesna (Jandric Family) for taking care of us all night long !!

Hey Lolov’, hope you enjoyed the evening with no rehearsal for once J

We took the road at 12pm, we have to drive for 6 hours... From this moment, it’s really winter time, 0°  they said in the petrol station....

We arrived in Slavonski Brod and were welcomed by Marco and Mladen. Tonight the gig will be in a small bar with a 6mx1m stage ! We were a little bit afraid at the begining but we managed to put all our things on stage, so cool ! Just after Mika, Petar and Sasa from Sopot arrived from Banja Luka to see the gig, so cool to see this guys, just 2 weeks after their tour in France!! Then we went to eat in a restaurant just few meters from the bar, testing white croatian wine and then went to Marco’s place also very near, so cool ! their welcoming was just perfect so we really felt good before the gig.

At 11pm, after a support band from the city “Kru Te Jebo” (It litteraly means “Fuck The Bread”, what means “Nique sa mère”) we began the gig, really motivated to make a good gig for these guys who welcomed us so well.

It was great to play in a little place, just near to people, perfect for the first gig of five in a row. We really like these kind of gig.

Great ambiance this night, people dancing, jumping, singing. We played 1h30 with singers of the first band coming on one song, and then DJ Martial mixed for 2 hours. That’s really cool to have this DJ with us, he’s still working to offer us great party J It was great to see punk people dancing on his Hip Hop mix !!

We ended the night at Marco’s place (after going out with –3,5° !!) listening to music and go to sleep at 4am... again...

Real great thanx to Marco and Mladen for this gig, it was so cool, we really enjoyed this little place ! and Thanx to Sopot guys for coming, so good to see you again Kume !!

Our little Lolov’, Hope it’s not too freezing in Paris.

Woke up very late and chilling...

Listen to music with Nedim, talking about different bands, looking at movies that Vuneny made sound, speaking about the remixs they’ve done... So we asked him about doing a remix from one of our songs, he said yes, cool ! it’s gonna be “Corbeaux” or “CS12”.

We went to see the Sea Organ, that is unique in the whole world. It’s an Organ that make sound with the waves of the sea. We arriced there but there were no waves... Fortunatly, two boats were passing by so we could hear its sound thanks to the waves they made, quite beautiful, strong and totally random/shuffle (?).

Then met a craotian/french girl Matéa in a bar, so we talked about after-war feelings (feelings of the different generations, feeling about the judgements of the International Tribunal for Ex Yougoslavia for the war criminal of the different countries...).

Than go to eat in a little restaurant were the boss tried to make us pay like 40€ more than we should, so little arguing till the boss sais to our croatian friends: “why did you bring that shit in my restaurant ?”, real fucking mess...

After, still speaking with ZVUK people about the organ that cost a lot to the town, some money that won’t go for helping population or cultural activities but just for pride of the town, their relationship with the town which is not good (for example they must go from their first squatted office because town wanted to build parking, so town helped them to rent a flat but now, since three months, they don’t get any money from it....), the public places that are little by little owned by bars or restaurants so their no more many places where people can just gather to drink a bit and discuss, drugs in Zadar that after war has been the port where all drugs came for Croatia and that after a war from municipality against marijuana, everybody were used to use heroïne, easier to find...

We all finished the night in a bar, Nedim left at midnight to Zagreb, end of the trip with Vuneny’s guys, real great meeting and good times with them, Hope to see you soon in France, Balkans or anywhere else !

Thanks a lot to all ZVUK people, especially to Visnja, Beban, Maya and Miranda for these 3 days really cool in Zadar !!

Miss you Lolov’, hope you’re fine J

Yeah day off !!!!!!

Just chilling in ZVUK office discussing, going on internet, listening music and last gigs, have showers...

Really good at this point of the tour after 3 gigs with lots of friends to party with.

Andreja from Vuneny went back to Mostar in the morning and Nedim decided to stay with us for these 2 days of rest, some more good discussion, real cool guy ! He’s one of the guys that struggled long years to get OKC Abrasevic in Mostar, maybe the only place like this in all Bosnia, a place to run gigs or theater and movies, independantly with all the equipement required.

Eh Lolov’ !! kisses !!

Wake up at 12...

We hardly found a good place to eat before leaving but finally found good pizzas and lasagnes in a shiny place with smiling faces... cool

Then 3 hours of travelling, watching a movie in the van... so quiet !

Arrived in Zadar a little bit late, guys of Vuneny arrived a little bit after by bus because we let Bino’s car in Zagreb.

Tonight it’s a festival in a big concrete hall with an old PA system, looks like it’s gonna be difficult... We hardly made soundcheck, sound was really hard... we were thinking that with many people it’ll be better. Have to deal nearly alone for technical stuffs has the guy was really tired, his first words when we arrived...

Vuneny began the gig. It was really cool to see them playing after 3 days dicussing in the van, partying at night. The conditions were really hard and as one of them was missing, they mostly improvisated the gig, that’s quite usual for them, but the hard condition didn’t really let them have great pleasure. However, Martial did the all gig with them and Julian sang a song. Really good to have this event after these days together !

Then we began our gig. Everything has changed compareted to the soundcheck... Two first songs were really hard, especially for Julian. There were like hundred people but not enough to make a good sound there... So as we all see that it won’t be possible to enjoy the sound, everybody of us decided to just have fun on stage ! we were playing, laughing at bad conditions, improvisating more as usual to enjoy ourselves. Good things came out, that was funny.

We all end up really drunk and partying with organisators till 6 in the morning. Little bit a mess at the end to know who will sleep there, but finally everybody found a place to sleep.

  here are some pictrures: http://www.zvuk.hr/jokevuneny2.html

Lolov’, hope you’re fine in Paris and that the festival weekend was good for you, hugs and kisses J
